COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICING NC II
VISION:

Goals of the Computer System Servicing NC II
COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that must possess to enable to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks.
Upon completion of the 302 hours, the trainees are competent to be:
Computer Assembler
Computer Service Technician
Network Technician
Computer Maintenance Technician
Objectives of the Computer System Servicing NC II
Generally, CSS NC II is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes of a Computer Systems Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks.
Specifically, the Computer System Servicing Program will use the Competency-Based Training (CBT) as the training modality & is expected to attain the following objectives:
1. To conduct competency-based training in Computer System Servicing NC II with 86% retention or assessment rate;
2. To ensure 90% certification rate of all graduates & assessed in Computer System Servicing NC II;
3. To refer graduates for employment opportunities with at least 75% employment rate of all graduates yearly; and
4. To explore at least 50% graduating trainees to industry immersion and/or develop entrepreneurial skills in Computer System Servicing while undergoing training.
SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW) NC II
VISION:

Goals of the SMAW NC II
Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plate and pipe components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using shielded metal arc welding equipment that conforms with American Welding Society (AWS) D 1.1 Structural Welding Code; American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; American Petroleum Institute (API) 1104 Code for Gas and Oil Pipeline Facilities; and International Standards Organization (ISO) 9606-1 Qualification of Welders for Steel.
Upon completion of the 290 hours, the trainees are competent to be a SMAW Welder.
Objectives of the SMAW NC II
Generally, SMAW NC II is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of SMAW Welder in accordance with industry standards. It covers competencies such as Setting-up Welding Equipment, Preparing Weld Materials, Fitting up Weld Materials, Welding Carbon Steel Plates Using SMAW, Welding Carbon Steel Plates and Pipes Using SMAW and Repairing Welds.
Specifically, the Shielded Metal Arc Welding Program will use the Competency-Based Training (CBT) as the training modality & is expected to attain the following objectives:

The COOKERY NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to clean kitchen areas, prepare hot, cold meals and desserts for guests in various food and beverage service facilities.
Upon completion of the 338 hours, the trainees are competent to be:

Objectives of the Cookery NC II
Generally, Cookery NC II is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes in Cookery in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as Clean and maintain kitchen premises, Prepare stocks, sauces and soups, Prepare appetizers, Prepare appetizers, Prepare salads and dressing, Prepare sandwiches, Prepare meat dishes, Prepare vegetables dishes, Prepare egg dishes, Prepare starch dishes, Prepare poultry and game dish, Prepare seafood dishes, Prepare desserts, Package prepared food.
Specifically, the Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing Program will use the Competency-Based Training (CBT) as the training modality & is expected to attain the following objectives:
1. To conduct competency-based training in Cookery NC II with 86% retention or assessment rate;
2. To ensure 90% certification rate of all graduates & assessed in Cookery NC II;
3. To refer graduates for employment opportunities with at least 75% employment rate of all graduates yearly; and
4. To explore at least 50% graduating trainees to industry immersion and/or develop entrepreneurial skills in Cookery while undergoing training.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II

The FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare the dining room for service, welcome guest and take food and beverage orders, promote food and beverage products, provide food and beverage service to guests, provide room service and receive and handle guest concerns.
Upon completion of the 378 hours, the trainees are competent to be:

Food and Beverage Service Attendant
Objectives of the Food and Beverage Services NC II
Generally, Food and Beverage Services NC II is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of FBS staff in food and beverage services, preparing the dining room for service, welcoming guests and taking food and beverage orders, promoting food and beverage products, providing food and beverage service to guests, providing room service, and receiving and handling guest concerns in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, core and common competencies in Food and Beverage Services II.
Specifically, the Food and Beverage Services Program will use the Competency-Based Training (CBT) as the training modality & is expected to attain the following objectives:
