Hello,
My name is Tami Brass. I’ve been teaching since 1994. I began my career as an English teacher in an alternative high school working with inner city students in Milwaukee. Since then, I’ve taught in an inner city Minneapolis charter school and a suburban Minnesota (Stillwater) public junior high, where as school technology coordinator I helped to start a 1:1 laptop program. I’m now at St. Paul Academy and Summit School in St. Paul, one of the oldest independent schools in the Midwest, and involved in coordinating/overseeing SPA’s 1:1 laptop program and K-12 technology curriculum as their Director of Instructional Technology.
During the past twenty-four years, I’ve found my niche helping educators use technology in ways which both engage learners and help them better achieve instructional goals.

One of my professional passions is collaborating with educators from around the world. It’s amazing how much one can learn from peers without ever meeting face to face.
