Resumes are a crucial part of the hiring process. You will need to upload an up to date resume to your portfolio. Before doing this, check to ensure your resume meets the following criteria:
Highlight your leadership and specific skills for each role
Specify your assigned certification, as well as any specific interests you have (ex. EC - 6 Certification, interested in math and science). Reference this template or this example resume for guidance.
Name your resume as FirstName.LastName.Resume (ex. LeBron.James.Resume)
Once your resume meets the above criteria, upload it to your portfolio. From there, staff will review it and contact you about any revisions that should be made before it's use in the hiring process.
Mock interviews are meant to give you real practice and feedback on your interviewing skills. You will sign up and complete these in the spring. Check the latest newsletter for more information on when and how to sign up.
Once you've completed a mock interview, you can expect to begin interviewing with your assigned school district. Each district has a different structure for interviewing. They will be in contact with you directly about what this looks like.
