Every day we go through the Zones of Regulation.   We learn recognize our feelings and to learn strategies to help us get back into the Green Zone ready to learn!

Every Read Aloud we would go through the Zones of Regulation.  First the students learned to identify their own and other's feelings and behaviour.  Then they would learn strategies or what to do when you are in each zone to help you get back into the green zone.  It is okay to be in the red zone.  We all get mad, sometimes, but it is not okay to hurt something or someone else.
