Busing can be complicated. Please look at the information below to help you.

New Students

Your child's busing is arranged by your child's Home School. Your Home School is the local school that your child would go to based on address, If you have not yet heard from the bus company about your child's bus route, please call your child's Home School and speak with the Office Administrator and Principal. You can find your Home School by your address on this website. You will find the contact information for your Home School Office Administrator and Principal listed with your Home School information.

Absences

If your child is sick, please call the bus company to let them know. Sometimes the drivers are willing to give you their cell phone numbers and you can let the driver know directly.

Below is a list of all the TDSB Bus Providers and their contact numbers.

Bus Cancellations/ Severe Weather

Sometimes buses will be canceled or delayed due to Severe Weather or other reasons. Please check daily for delays and cancellations.

Also, when a storm is coming, please check the news for updates. Bus cancellations and school closures will be shared on the news. For example, you can look at CP24.

Please note that TDSB will only cancel buses if a storm affects the driving that morning. When a storm is expected in the afternoon, buses often still run. This means that your child arrives at school on time, but there may be incredible delays for your child to get home. We had students who did not get picked up from school until 6:40 pm and did not arrive home until after 8 pm due to the delays in their buses. Unfortunately, the only way to prevent this is to pick up your child early before the weather becomes difficult for driving. During Winter, please look at the weather every day and plan accordingly.
