PinDown: 5 players on each team are "in" guarding a bowling pin. Guard your pin, but should you stay or should you go? You need to get dodgeballs to knock other pins down, but can you afford to leave your pin unattended? If your pin gets knocked down you are out and the next person in line (like a batting order) comes in. It's a very quick moving game and the kids LOVE it!!!
Robot Game-Idea: The idea of the game is to help students think of their joints and how our bodies move. In this game we talk about how robots don't have joint movement and range of motion like we do. Their mission is to collect all the microchips (ping pong balls) while moving like robots. Robots can only move with their battery pack on their head (bean bag). Robot mechanics are there to help the robots when they lose their battery source. How many microchips can we collect? Will we complete our mission?
Team Memory Game
(getting ready to hunt eggs)
Bear Crawl out, skip back. You can look under one cone if you find your teams color you can bring it back. If not, keep looking. Can you find all 8? What other exercise can we use to get to the cone and back? How can we keep track of which cones we've looked under?
