INTRODUCTION: I am originally from Grant City, MO, and a high school graduate from the Worth County R-III school district. I attended Peru State College in Peru, NE, where I played basketball and softball.
I began my teaching career as a special education associate in Rock Port, MO. My family then relocated to Eagleville, MO, where I taught K-12 P.E. and coached the varsity girls basketball team and the boys varisty track team at.
I moved to the Tri-Center school district in 2007 with my husband, Jamie, and our their three children who are all now Tri-Center alumni.
While at TC I have coaches a varitey of diffent sports and sponsored many different activities. I am a proud TC Trojan supporter of all activities our studnets are involved in.
My goal as a physical educator is simply to help children obtain the knowledge and desire to lead a healthy lifestyle. Students will be introduced to the concepts I refer to as the building block of fitness.
Each day I tell the students that we should see three things: 1. We are sweating, 2. Our heart is beating fast, and 3. We are out of breath.
