Southwest did not win either of its scholar bowl meets yesterday against Purdy or Galena, but given the team is made up mostly of 7th-graders who were in either their first or second meet, I was proud and amazed by their passion and competitiveness. Thank you for prepping them so well. Special thanks to Mrs. Day, Mrs. Galyen, and Southwest alumni Lacey Reeves for serving as officials. The Trojans play again Tuesday against Blue Eye and Spokane.
