Another component of your child's social emotional development is career readiness. At the elementary level, Career Decision-Making has two major components:
1. Exploring the World of Work: What jobs are out there? What are my options and choices? Given the advances in technology what jobs will there be when I am ready to enter the world of work? What is the outlook for career choices down the road?
2. Learning All About Me: Who am I? What are my interests, strengths and values (what is important to me?)
The following is an interactive site that consists of information, books, and games that is easy to navigate and will provide some great information to your child.
