Independence, Self-Care and Adaptive Skills
Preschool ADAPTIVE/ INDEPENDENCE Skills:
Complete personal care tasks (toileting, teeth brushing, hand-washing, dressing etc) with some reminders/ help
Tries to open food, drink from a cup, and feed self with little spilling
Follow basic health and safety rules
Takes care of own needs appropriately and try to solve problems on own
Follow daily routine to transition between activities with decreasing support
Completes steps of clean up routines
Follow directions to begin and finish an activity. Increase time can remain on task
Attend and engage during different activities (stay in area, look, follow directions, respond appropriately)

Sort the clean silverware. Help put it away.
