Preschool MATH Skills:

• Rote count (say aloud 1,2,3,4,5... in correct order- not counting objects)
• Count objects with 1:1 correspondence (see how many objects- point to each object one at a time and say the correct numbers in order to find how many total)
• Verbally name written numbers 1-9
• Sort by color, size, shape
• Compare by size (bigger/smaller, greater than/less than)
• Name basic shapes and colors
• Start to identify simple patterns (~4 year old/ + skill)
