- Rote count (say aloud 1,2,3,4,5... in correct order- not counting objects)
- Count objects with 1:1 correspondence (see how many objects- point to each object one at a time and say the correct numbers in order to find how many total)
- Verbally name written numbers 1-9
- Sort by color, size, shape
- Compare by size (bigger/smaller, greater than/less than)
- Name basic shapes and colors
- Start to identify simple patterns (~4 year old/ + skill)
