Hello! My name is Christy Garey and I teach fifth and sixth grade literacy and social studies at Holt Crossing Intermediate. This is my nineteenth year teaching at Holt Crossing. I received my Bachelors' and my Master of Education Degrees from The Ohio State University. I have been married to my husband Mike for fourteen years and we live in Marysville. We have three daughters named Stella, Lola, and Etta. We enjoy spending our free time traveling, being outdoors, usually walking or riding our bikes at the park, or working on our house. I am looking forward to an exciting and successful school year!
Hello, my name is Deborah Smith and I am your child’s math and science teacher. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Ohio Dominican and completed my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University. This is my seventeenth year teaching here at Holt Crossing. I have been a full time teacher, a long-term sub, and a permanent sub for South-Western. My husband Randy and I have three beautiful daughters, Elizabeth, Caroline, and Emily, all of whom have attended and graduated from South-Western. When I am not teaching, studying, or being a mom, I like to exercise, read, travel, and scrapbook. I look forward to getting to know both you and your child better and having a great school year!
