October 29, 2023 Cape Charles

Started the morning with a run with Caramel and we discovered the public beach. Came back to coffee and breakfast - thanks Myles. We tried to find the laundry only to learn that it's broken so that will have to wait till we get to Hampton. We all went for a long walk and stopped at Peach Street Books and had some coffee. I did a little wandering through the town and got some good advice plus gear for fishing in and around the Bay at Bailey's Bait & Tackle. Myles worked on putting together a strap system for towing the dinghy. 

We're headed to Kelly's Gingernut Pub for dinner. Plan is to leave early in the morning as it looks like it will be windy on our arrival at Hampton Yacht Club and we want to get there before it gets too crazy.
