February 12, 2024 Lynyard Cay

We spent two nights anchored outside of Hope Town on Elbow Key and two days wondering the town. This time Myles got to climb the 101 steps of the Elbow Reef Lighthouse! Hope Town is largely restored from the hurricane through the collaborative efforts and investment of the community. Today we headed to Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park where we hoped to anchor. The winds, waves and swells were too much there so we traveled further to Lynyard Cay to anchor. There are a few houses on Lynyard Cay but it's unclear whether anyone actually occupies them.
