December 27, 2023 Fernandina Beach FL

Caramel and I have done a lot of walking around the Fernandina Beach town and marina area, mostly to be outside as much as possible in the mild weather. So many pelicans and other birds, plus occasional dolphins, and there are signs about manatees but I have yet to see one. Myles started feeling sick on Christmas Day and tested positive for COVID on the 26th. I've tested negative twice and I feel fine. We're both lying low so as not to 'share' anything with others. Sadly missing out on al the great restaurants in the area. Plan is to leave Saturday but we need to be in good health for that to happen.
