Dear Parents,
It is a pleasure to welcome you and your child back to school. At the beginning of the school year, I will be trying to get to know your child as a learner, thinker, and person. I would appreciate it if you would spend a few minutes to write and tell me some of the things you feel are special about your child.
You might wish to let me know the books your child has enjoyed reading, his/hers interests and talents, or anything that you feel might contribute towards making your child’s school experience the best it can possibly be this year. I will read these letters carefully as I plan my instructional program.
