Kindergarten reads one main story a week during shared reading time. During these reading times, we focus on basic concepts of print such as: the cover of the book, reading left to right and top to bottom, knowledge that print carries meaning, pointing to each word as we read, etc. Below you will find a list of the books we will be working on this year and the skills that accompany them.
