At least 3 medium soft reeds (no plastic reeds)

When selecting a used oboe, please look for the following:
Body: No cracks, chips, or major dents. Corks on ends of joint(s) are intact.
Keys: Work smoothly. None are bent or broken.
Pads: Clean in appearance. They do not stick when pressed down.
Case: Secure latches. Hold instrument securely.
Be cautious purchasing instruments online.
