Overview of Classes Taught


United States History: Students will take a journey from Europe and the age of exploration to the founding of the United States, Its bloody Civil War and its reconstruction. They will look at the Constitution and its articles and amendments and see why it was constructed the way it was. Also, students will hopefully understand the rights and responsibilities that are emboldened within its words .

World Geography : 7th Grade will take a closer look at the physical and cultural geography of the world we live in. The students will focus on selected continents along with their past and present civilizations, cultures, and governments. They will hopefully expand their knowledge and understanding of the world and its nations and how the world changes and why?

World History: Grade 6th studies ancient civilizations and their similarities, differences, and interactions. They will begin to get a better familiarity of where things lie geographically and how man spread across the globe. Also, the students will begin to learn and understand the different cultures of the world and why they developed as they did.

Reading; The seventh grade will continue to grow and increase their reading skills and knowledge. They have a lot to read this year and review to prepare them for the demands of junior high and high school.
