Week 6-7
WALHT: Greet each other and listen to others through turn taking, finding our confidence talking in a small group. Talking about our families and who we have in our family. Using a programme that has been developed in New Zealand, engaging children with fun poems, activities and short lessons aided with a puppet called Ginger.
Reflect: Incoporating what we have been building knowledge on in our concept learning, making meaning of our place in school and home environments. We are getting to know other learners in our hub and getting more confident speaking in a group. Drawing a family portrait Making our own puppets to take home and share, we are also using the puppets we made for imaginary play.

Week 8/9
WALHT: What makes a good friend, what can we do to help our friends if they are sad.
Reflect: Apply our understanding through art or building.
Week 10/11
WALHT: Continuing to build knowledge and make meaning of what it looks like to be a good friend.
Reflect:Continuing our learning and understanding of friendships through Oral language and art. Finishing sharing about ourselves, friends and family.
