Art Rockets Summer Camp MAY 27-30
This video tutorial will show you how to draw a simple goldfish using circles and triangles. It will also show you several different ways that you can color your artworks. You can use crayons or markers or watercolor. I will even show you how to make your own watercolors using markers and water!
What is abstraction? Many of us use the word to describe artworks but do we really understand what makes an artwork abstract? Allow me to simplify the concept for you and demonstrate a fun abstraction project you can do with any shape! I also cover some watercolor painting tips. What can you abstract?
Color scales. Blending Prismacolor pencils. Complimentary color schemes.

This video is PART ONE of a goldfish project. If you don't feel comfortable drawing goldfish, watch the drawing video first! Here I will show you how to use a cereal box (any paper will do) to create multiple goldfish to cut out using scissors. Make as many goldfish as you can and stay tuned for PART TWO where I show you some ideas of what to do with all those fish!
This 1 minute slideshow will recap the steps of PART ONE and show you a fun example of what to do with your goldfish cutouts. When you finish, grab your goldfish and your camera! Show me all the places your goldfish have been swimming.
