WARMING UP: These are some of the drills we do doing dynamic stretching and warm-ups
B-skips - notice the foot flexion (leading with heels, not pointing toes), opposite arm pairing, and rhythm
LONG JUMP:
Bounding - notice the height he gets, the opposite arm pairing, and his rhythm.
SHOT PUT: In middle school, we use 6 lb and 4 kg (8.8 lb) shots.
Shot Put: Shuffle
Although her form certainly isn't perfect, notice how she keeps her eyes back during her shuffle, blocks with her left arm, and releases at a 45 degree angle.
