60th ANNUAL FARIBAULT INVITATIONAL

We are looking forward to hosting the 60th Annual Faribault Cross Country Invitational next Friday, September 11, 2026!

Wayzata Results will once again be providing timing services. Josh Gerber will be sending out a separate email with registration information and instructions for entering athletes into Athletic.net.

DATE: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

PLACE: North Alexander Park (near the grandstand) 

SCHEDULE: 3:30p Middle School Boys & Girls 2400m, unlimited entries/team

3:45p C Race Boys and Girls 2400m, unlimited entries/team

4:00p Varsity Boys 5000m, limit 7 runners/team

4:30p Varsity Girls 5000m, limit 7 runners/team

5:00p JV Boys 5000m, unlimited entries/team

5:35p JV Girls 5000m, unlimited entries/team

6:20p Varsity Awards, Packet pick up for all other awards

ELIGIBILITY: Varsity, JV and C races are open to runners in grades 7th-12th. 

   Middle School race is open to runners in 6th-8th grade only.

***Please note there will be a football game at Alexander Park after the races. We will have an abbreviated award ceremony for the varsity races only immediately after the conclusion of the JV Girls race. Please be

mindful of others as you exit the park*** 

TIMING:   Wayzata Results will be providing timing services and every runner in all races will continue to be timed. Josh Gerber will send out an email including registration information into athletic.net. Please do not enter runners that will not be racing to help keep the cost of the meet down. 

AWARDS:    Varsity team:  1st and 2nd place, individuals: Medals 1st-10th place

JV individuals: Medals 1st-10th place

C Race individuals: 1st place medals, Ribbons 2nd-5th place

Middle School individuals: Ribbons 1st-5th

FOR SALE: Concessions, Kona Ice, and t-shirts will be for sale onsite.  T-shirts will cost $15.

DIRECTIONS: Busses must enter the fairgrounds on the North side of the park.  The start and finish is near the fairgrounds grandstand. Team camps must be set up to the east of the football field. Remember NO glass containers are allowed in the park. Volunteers will help park spectators and ask for a $1 donation.
