Every child will be receiving their Reading Level for A.R.

A note will be sent home with their reading range (Z.P.D.)

This is the grade level that your child should be selecting books to read.

It is typical for your child to start out in the 1.5-2.0 range and hopefully, they will work their way up to 2.3-?

The more they read, the better their reading range will get!

We have an A.R. Library in our classroom that students will be selecting books from.

Every time a student passes an A.R. Test, they will get to add a sticker to the chart and add a circle to our class bookworm!

Eventually, your child will be required to take and pass a certain number of A.R. tests every trimester.

They should become familiar with this process now!

Their reading level is not compared to any other students. This is for their own personal growth!

**Students may only take A.R. Tests in school!**
