All Math Facts Must Be Memorized and Practiced At HOME! This means more than just Fact Folders!
Please keep Library Books in Backpack! We have Library on Tuesdays!
ALL MATH FACTS MUST BE MEMORIZED AND PRACTICED AT HOME!

Spelling Tests are every FRIDAY unless otherwise stated!
Please make sure your child has a school sweater - it is very chilly in the cafeteria!
**IXL Note- if you would like to check how many minutes your child has worked on IXL for the week go to the ANALYTICS Tab at the top of your screen. This will give you the option of selecting Math or English. Make sure you choose the correct date range and look at each subject individually. This will show you exactly what I will be looking at. Do not go by the timer- this records the time spent on the website, not time spent working! :)
Please make sure you are looking at your child's HW Book and only signing it after you have seen all of the COMPLETED Homework!
This year we have stories for reading in 2 books! Our schedule for the week usually goes like this...
- Monday-Tuesday - we use the smaller book
- Wednesday - Friday - we use the bigger book
Mrs. Williams and I are going to be sending the books home for the students to re-read and do writing assignments during the week. If there is any confusion, you can try to help your child to remember that we are doing baby books first and big books last every week. Hopefully, this routine will help them know what book we are using.
We know that this new reading series is challenging and can be overwhelming at times, but in the end the students are LOVING it and having a great time here in school! They are really showing they can handle the difficult content and are going above and beyond expectations! Thank you for your help at home!

Please keep all STUDY GUIDES in the RETURN to SCHOOL SIDE until we are done with the test!
This makes sure that nothing gets lost and then we are able to study in class :)
Students also need a silent reading book at all times! This is recommended for when they are finished early and waiting for the next set of directions.
