Science

Miss Jonas teaches all of the science for 5th grade.

Science will focus on topics such as classification of organisms, life cycles, systems of the human body, ecosystems, Earth's water cycle and surface as well as properties of matter. A variety of assignments such as vocabulary and work in the text (consumable textbook) as well as assessments consisting of quizzes, tests and projects will be completed. Expect homework 2-3 days per week. Points for work will range from 5-25 points for a daily homework type assignment up to 100 points for projects and tests.
