Our volunteers are a vital part of the success of Saint Charles Academy. We have such a generous community based on a strong spirit of family values and the ability to work together for our cause! A benefit of performing the required service hours is for parents to get to know other parents and for us to draw upon your talents! Share your time, treasure, and talent!
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Families will need to enter your Family Volunteer Service Hours in your FACTS Family Portal. The option for "Service Hours" is on the "Family Home" screen in your portal.
Each family is required to complete 10 hours of verified service to Saint Charles Academy or school related activities June 1 through May 31.
*Included in these hours will be 3 auction volunteer hours and 2 festival hours. Families may not bank hours for subsequent years.
*Service hours are to be completed by parents or guardians of the students only.
*Partial hours of service are rounded up to the nearest half hour.
*Families may not transfer hours to other school families.
*A non-participation fee may be paid at the end of the year for those families choosing to opt out of the required hours. A family will be billed $40, not to exceed $400, for each uncompleted hour of service on the subsequent year’s tuition and fee statement.
*We know and recognize that families will volunteer beyond the 10 hour requirement and we graciously thank you!
