St. Charles Parish is part of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). The CYO enriches families and strengthens communities across southeast Michigan with programs that embrace the love and example of Jesus Christ. St. Charles Athletic Program is parish-based and is dedicated to developing student athletes while encouraging them to express Catholic values, sportsmanship and fair play that leads to a positive athletic experience.
Athletes of families, who are participating, registered and contributing members of St. Charles Parish are welcome and encouraged to participate. A wide variety of sports are offered and are listed below. The Athletic Program is financed by the St. Charles Athletic Club through fundraisers organized by dedicated parents, alumni, friends and parish members. Fundraising keeps player's fees low.

All coaches and volunteers are required to attend the "Protecting God's Children" workshop. This workshop builds awareness and empowers attendees to intervene and prevent potentially harmful situations or behavior. All athletes are subject to the rules and regulations as set forth in the St.Charles Student/Parent Handbook. Athletes from other parishes may participate in St. Charles Athletic Program with a letter from their pastor stating they are either registered members of that parish or attending Religious Education classes at the parish.
In case of a dispute, our Pastor, in consultation with the Principal will make all final decisions.
