For this activity, an adult stands in front of the children and directs them into movements by first saying “Simon says.” If a child performs an action even when you haven’t said “Simon says,” let them know that Simon didn’t instruct them to and continue on. This allows every child to continue being involved in the activity while also testing listening skills.
