First Grade

This is what we are learning for the week of

 December  15th - 19th.   

Reading -  Our Story this week is called Animal Group Test on Friday

High frequency words - bird, fly, those, both, long, walk, eyes, or. 

Focus Skill -  compare and contrast

Spelling -  time, like, kite, bike, white, drive.  Spelling test on Friday.   

Grammar -  The verb be

Math -  Ch. 6 Addition and subtraction

Religion -   Chapter 11  We Belong to a Parish. Take home test on Wednesday.  

Phonics -    words with long i
