  🍎 Meet Your Teacher!

Hello and welcome!

My name is Mrs. DiPietro, and I am so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher! This year marks my 23rd year teaching first grade at SS.C.D., and I truly love helping young learners grow in confidence, curiosity, and kindness. First grade is such a special year, and I feel fortunate to be a part of it!

My husband retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in 2016, and we enjoy spending quality time together with our family. We have two wonderful children who keep us very proud!

My daughter, Nicole, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and is a pharmacist with CVS Pharmacy. She recently purchased her first home and got engaged this summer—we're excitedly planning a May wedding!

My son, Joey, graduated from Penn State DuBois with a degree in Business. He is now a Pennsylvania State Trooper and purchased his first home last fall.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family. We have a camper and a side-by-side, and one of our favorite ways to spend time together is camping, exploring the outdoors, and making lasting family memories.

In 2021, I was deeply honored to receive the Teacher of the Year Award. That recognition was only possible because of the incredible support of my students, their families, and my colleagues. I am grateful every day to be part of such a caring school community.

I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your amazing child with me—I can't wait for a fantastic year together!
