Robotic aquatic training opens up new opportunities for therapists, coaches, and balneology professionals. Swissrehamed is currently developing a structured training and certification pathway focused on the role of the Certified Aquatic Instructor (CAI).
The CAI role is primarily designed for use in the ascros™ rehabilitation system, where certified instructors support clinical staff in:
• preparing and configuring therapy sessions with ascros-OS
• guiding coordination and performance tasks via immersive feedback
• integrating user-specific media via the ECP-UGC™ platform
• interpreting outcomes and assisting in therapy progression loops
As the modular architecture of our systems evolves, the CAI role may also be adapted to craPos™ for prevention and training settings.
In cranos™, no instructor function is planned at this stage – unless the system is used in terrestrial or aquatic clinical environments.

→ The certification program is currently in development with Swiss-based and international partners.
