The 2020-2021 school year is my twenty-first year teaching social studies to high school students. I have long had an interest in the dynamics of human groups, both past and present. I received my Bachelor's Degree from The University of California at Santa Cruz, and my Master's Degree in Anthropology at The University of Arizona. I worked for several years in Cultural Resource Management, or Contract Archaeology, and later pursued a teaching credential in Social Science at Sonoma State University. I am the proud mother of two grown children and delight in my two young granddaughters. I am a firm believer in the power of education, and view my students as the hope for the future.
