About Mrs. Coto

I am a native Houstonian and graduated from Klein Forest High School in 2005. I attended Texas A&M University and graduated in August of 2009, with a double major in Biomedical Science and Animal Science.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked with the Houston Health Department as a microbiologist. After becoming pregnant and having my son in September 2011, I decided to change my career path, and become a teacher. I completed the Lone Star Alternative Certification program, and became certified in all sciences.

I have always loved biology and look forward to teaching it!! I am looking forward to the 2012-2013 school year, and believe it will be a great one!
