Classroom Goals and Procedures
Materials needed:
Walkman-style headphones, adaptable jack (if needed), 3 ring binder or folder, manuscript paper (can be bought at a music store or printed out from www.musictheory.net.
You will be responsible for completing as many goals as possible throughout the semester.
(everyone will work according to his or her own level of piano skills).
There will be 2 recitals throughout the course. The final recital will be performed in front of an audience.
Written and playing assessments will be administered weekly.
Your grade is based on progress, proper use of class time, and classroom preparation.
The success you earn from this course is directly related to your self-motivation.
