Smudge Painting

1. Pick a photo….animal or person, make sure it is not pixeled.

2. Create a layer. Just in case you need to go back to the original.

3. Get smudge tool (looks like a downward pointing finger, in the same tool set as the blur tool)

4. Set its strength to about 50%. Hardness on brush to 0.

5. Zoom in to a very small portion of the picture. Move in small strokes with the fur, skin, feathers….ect

6. (Optional step) When done smudging you can adjust your hue sharpness or others to get even more dramatic effect...
