Arrival and Dismissal

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ONLY!

Student’s arrival bus information and dismissal information are very important. For the first day of school we ask that you plan to walk your child to their classroom, so that we can hand out important paper work and verify bus information with you. You will also be responsible for picking up your child at 3:00 in our classroom. Your child will receive a bus tag from your classroom teacher that will remain pinned to their backpack for the first few weeks of school. Please do not remove the bus tag.

Regular Arrival and Dismissal Information

Regular school hours are from 8:55 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. Students may enter the building NO EARLIER THAN 8:40 a.m. Adults will be stationed at every entrance and in every hallway to help your child find his/her classroom.

Students going home on the bus will be walked down to their bus lines by an adult, where additional adults are waiting to monitor your child as they get on the bus. Children being picked up will be walked to the back door, Eden Ave. entrance, by an adult. Adults will remain with students until the individual picking up that child comes to the door to get them. Individuals picking up your child must only park in the Eden Ave. parking lot. Students are not allowed to walk down the stairs to the parking lot to meet you.

If your child is going to arrive at school later than the start time listed above, the individual dropping students off must report to the office first.

Children will be dismissed according to the information that was given to the main office by parents/guardians. If you need to change dismissal information at any point during the school year please send in a note or email your teacher and notify the office as well.
