Course Description
Through the interactive use of web technology tools, students will learn about the skills needed to succeed in school, on the job, and in the 21st century.
Units of study include career exploration, workplace skills, and financial literacy skills.
Topics include money management, paychecks, budgets, checking accounts, savings accounts and credit.
Prerequisite: Computer Dimensions 1 is recommended

Use online resources to identify factors affecting his or her career path.
Evaluate career clusters and select a career based on personal interests and aptitudes through the use of various online resources.
Name and describe the three types of business organizations.
Create professional looking documents using technology.
Identify and apply interviewing skills.
Identify sources of income, expenses and savings.
Create a monthly budget based on a chosen career and lifestyle.
List and apply the advantages and disadvantages of using credit.
