The Graduate Student Association (GSA) represents graduate students at Saint Louis University. The GSA is governed by elected officers, and its General Assembly consists of one representative from each graduate degree program. GSA sponsors the annual Graduate Student Research Symposium which showcases graduate student research, in both paper and poster formats. Graduate students may also apply for GSA awards for conference presentation and attendance, publication assistance, as well as summer research support towards thesis, dissertation, and exam preparation.

To prepare and safeguard Saint Louis University students studying abroad, the Office of International Services adopted a comprehensive insurance package, mandatory for all students participating in a Saint Louis University International Program. International Programs include, but are not limited to, an international program of study, research, service or other University sponsored international experience. Additional information regarding the HTH Worldwide insurance policy, including a link the online application and payment, may be found on the International Health Insurance Study Abroad webpage. ATTN: All Arts and Science students are required to fill out the CAS conference travel approval forms prior to travel for CAS purposes only. GSA does not require pre-approval for travel and you do not need to send us your CAS travel forms with your GSA award application. This pertains only to CAS students.
Alpha Epsilon Lambda (AEL),a national honors society for graduate students, is accepting applications for membership. Any graduate student whose GPA falls in the top 35% of their department, completed at least a year of graduate course work, and 12 graduate credit hours is eligible to apply for membership. The 12 graduate credit hours and 1+ years of graduate coursework needs to have been completed by February 2014.
