Religion

This is a big year for the second graders! Much of what we do will be to prepare for First Reconciliation and First Communion.  We will meet with our 8th grade buddies on Monday mornings and will be going to church every Friday morning. In addition to the units listed below, we also will focus on saints, holidays and holy days, Catholic Schools Week, Advent and Lent, Mary, and the Rosary.

Our religion units for the year include:

• The Church, Our Community in the Spirit

• Sacraments, Our Way of Life

• Morality, Our Lived Faith.
