Math

Math will be very "hands on" in second grade! The  students will be actively engaged with math manipulatives and computer-based games and websites.  We have a new math series this year. Our units will include:

• Numbers Within 20: Addition, Subtraction, and Data

• Numbers Within 100: Addition, Subtraction, Time, and Money

• Numbers Within 1,000: Place Value, Addition, and Subtraction

• Length: Measurement, Addition and Subtraction, and Line Plots

• Shapes and Arrays: Partitioning and Tiling Shapes, Arrays, Evens and Odds

• Multiplication
