Weekly Letter

Happy Easter! This Thursday is our First Communion Retreat. It goes from 9:00-12:00. The students will have an opportunity to learn more about this wonderful sacrament and have a great time doing it. All students will be able to participate whether they are making their First Communion or not. Lunch and snack will be provided. Lunch will be cheese pizza. Please bring in an alternate lunch if there are any allergies to pizza. The students may also wear free dress for the retreat.  The retreat will be a whole lot of fun! 

First Communion is around the corner! We celebrate it Saturday, May 2nd at 9:30 am. Don’t forget that First Communion banners are due on Thursday, April 30th. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. 

This week we will complete a sheet with water cycle vocabulary, definitions, and pictures that the kids drew to go with the definitions. We’ll take it home later this week.  Please have your child study the definitions. On the science test next week (not this week), they will have to match these same definitions with the correct vocabulary word. We’ll complete a study guide next week to study, but this would be a great way to get a head start.

- We are continuing weather and seasons in Science

Tests this week are: spelling (lesson 30) phonics test on Friday.
