Accessibility and family-friendly information

Access to the Diamond building is typically through revolving doors but our Conference Helpers will be on hand to facilitate alternative access for wheelchairs, prams etc (it would be helpful for us if you indicated any accessibility needs on the online booking form).

The Diamond ground floor level is step-free.

Access to the basement level where the conference will take place is via steps or lifts (for location of lifts see grey 'L' symbol on floor plan). The basement level itself is again step-free.

Conference Lecture Theatres (i.e. Lecture Theatres 1, 5 and 6 on The Diamond's basement level) are level for presenters and the first row of seating (with tiered seating behind).

General guidance for disabled visitors to the University of Sheffield including online access guides available on DisabledGo and a free downloadabel app called AccessAble is available here: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/visitors/disabilities. Information about disabled parking is also provided under the Venue and Travel tab.
