WHAT: You will learn about color theory then take visual representations of the definitions of the words.
WHY: Because it is important to be able to define what you see when critiquing and be purposeful in your use of color in photography.
HOW: Review of color theory definitions and images followed by photographing assignment.

Pantone is a company/color system that matches colors so they can be recreated the same over and over.
Think of it as a fancy way to make sure you get the color you want no matter where you are.

For this assignment, you will go out and take 1 beautiful image that represent each type of color combination.
Make sure to have good composition, good exposure, thoughtful locations and images that CLEARLY represent the color combo in one photo.
When you are done, place you images in the handout called COLOR THEORY in Photo Handouts.
Turn in your final product as

Primary colors- When RGB or CMYK exist predominantly in the photo.
Secondary Colors- Colors that are made by combined 2 primary colors. Orange, green, purple.
Complementary colors- when colors that are opposite of one another on the wheel exist together in a photo.
Analogous- colors that are next to each other on color wheel.
Harmony- Photos composed of mainly one hue (monochromatic almost).
Spot color- when one color stands out among the others.
