COURSE OVERVIEW:
This year, we will delve deeper into all topics including photo history, the fundamentals of digital photography, how to make a cohesive series, art theory, critiquing art, design concepts and digital editing. Students will also have a chance to enter various art shows and add to their professional portfolio. Students are expected to be more independent and proactive in their art this year. This is a project based class, most assignments will be long term and students are expected to produce work that represents and reflects the time and thought put into it. Students will learn self-expression through art, everyone has a voice, what do you want to say?
RATIONALE:
We are lucky to have so much amazing equipment. Let’s respect it. This classroom is a community; we are ALL responsible for the materials, equipment, and behavior that goes on here.
