Mrs. Gildow's Class Website

Hello! I'm Mrs. Gildow, the 8th Grade Science teacher at Westchester Middle School. I have been teaching here for 17 years. I love the community of Westchester and all of the families I've worked with over the years. I look forward to getting to know you!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education from Miami University (Ohio) and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University (Chicago). I am passionate about teaching and especially love working with 8th graders. What a fun year for so many reasons! I hope to help our students succeed as they prepare for High School.

I promise to do my part by creating engaging, fun lessons and working hard for my students. I know each student is coming to class with a different story and perspective. I promise to try and meet them where they are and help foster a successful 8th grade year.
