AP Biology is a very fun and challenging course. You can expect to study independently about an hour a day in order to achieve mastery.
Textbook: Campbell's Biology AP version 11th edition. Students are *required* to bring a hard-cover textbook to class with them. Purchase of an e-book as a portable back-up is recommended. We will also read Moalem's Survival of the Sickest. All students must also have a bound composition book with graph paper (squares, not lines) for use as a lab journal. **AP Biology students may receive Extra Credit for attending a doctoral dissertation. Look on the UM or Wayne State or MSU websites** You must send Ms. Lucia the date of the presentation, the title of the presentation, and a selfie that shows that you attended in order to get credit!
