Every day you should bring:
A pencil case with 2-3 pens, 4-5 pencils, 1 eraser, 1-2 highlighters, 12-24 colored pencils, handheld pencil sharpener, a folder to put homework and other information for parents, and a glue stick. In a binder, you should have a flat 3 whole punch. Lastly you need an SSR book.
Math class: a 1 inch binder with 5 dividers, with 20 pieces of lined paper in the back. This binder can be shared with another.
ELA with Ms. Malofy: the current novel we are reading, a 1 inch binder with 3-5 dividers, 1 pack of index cards, and about 50 pieces of lined paper. This binder can be shared with another.
ELA with Ms. Wells: all materials are kept in the ELA room. Bring yourself, your curiosity and your smile.
Social Studies: a 3 prong/2 pocket folder and about 20 pieces of lined paper in back, one composition book.
Science: scissors and tape, along with a composition book.
Dance: Dance bag with dance attire
Piano: piano books (varies depending on the student, anywhere from 1-5 books, whereas some students just have single-sheet print-outs of their repertoire), a single subject notebook (some choose to use a binder with loose-leaf paper instead)
Theater: 1/2” or 1” binder with 30 sheets loose leaf. This binder can be shared with another class if dividers are used.
Orchestra: 2 music books, 1 thin folder, instrument and pencils.
Visual Art: all materials are kept in the art room
Band: Instrument – most days, they can stay in the band room until exploratory – along with two method books, a journal that can be shared, and a pencil
Computer Lab: nothing but pencil/pen
Wells: Something to write with and something to write on.
Spanish: all materials are kept in the Spanish room, bring pencils/pen
Gym: appropriate attire and shoes
