Monkfest 2018

Monkfest 2018

 

 

This year’s Monkfest will take place on Sunday, August 19, from 2:00 to 6:00.  Please come and join with the monks and our friends for an afternoon of food and fellowship. Monkfest will end with the celebration of Vespers. Admission is free. Please bring a food item to share. Tours of the monastery will be offered, and we will have a small amount of religious items and books for sale.

Fr. Augustine Presents a Conference Paper

Fr. Augustine is attending the winter meeting of the American Catholic Historical Association, where he is presenting a paper, "An Urban Benedictine Parish Reacts to the Times: St. Mary's, Newark, NJ." This meeting will also be the end of this three-year term on the Executive Council. While in Washington he visited the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
