Pinkerton Academy 8 th Grade Preview Night What Can Be Expected at Pinkerton Academy?

January 10th (live stream and in-person) 6:00 p.m. Stockbridge Theater – Arts and Humanities Building

Parents and future Pinkerton students are invited to attend an orientation meeting at the Academy (families can view the live stream, recording, or attend in-person), which will present the course selection process and provide a preview of Pinkerton’s academic and extracurricular programs. This event will be recorded and posted to this portion of the Pinkerton website. If you plan to attend in-person on January 10th, you must fill out this form by December 22nd. A second date may be added if potential in-person attendees on January 10th exceed the seating capacity of the theatre.


Pinkerton Academy 8 th Grade Course Night What Courses Should I Take at Pinkerton Academy?

January 20, 2022, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Academy Building

Course Night is an event where parents and future Pinkerton students will be able to talk directly with Pinkerton teachers about the courses and levels they should select so that they can achieve their future goals after high school. School counselors will also be available to meet with families. Special Education staff will be giving a presentation from 6:30-7:15 p.m. on Pinkerton’s Special Education Programs and the process for transitioning special education services to Pinkerton. More information will be available shortly on our website.


Pinkerton Academy 8 th Grade Electives Information Day

January 27, 2022, 8:45 a.m. - 1:25 p.m.

On January 27th, students are invited to talk directly with other students about their experiences in the areas of Junior ROTC, the Arts, Career and Technical Education, and World Languages. Students will move through these four programs during the full-day activity. Middle schools will arrange buses for their students to and from this event. Parents/guardians of tuitioning students should contact Cheryl Turner at cturner@pinkertonacademy.org or at 437-5200-x2108. Students are to bring their own bagged lunch. Pinkerton will provide snacks and water.
